“Why don’t we catch up tomorrow and take a couple of shots on our way to dinner?” I asked while we shared our first coffee somewhere in the financial district. Oblivious of the fact that daylight saving time shifts that very evening we set up the time which left us an hour short for the shoot itself, but we squeezed in a couple of shots. I immediately clicked with these two architects living in the big apple. Traveling day in – day out to their offices, putting in long hours and dreaming of an amazing wedding in one of the Croatian most beautiful islands – Vis. My family roots reach to this amazing place. Vis wedding photographer Croatia.
Luna&Peter were set to get married on Monday in a laid back atmosphere surrounded with their family and friends. Two days before I was roaming the streets of Rome shooting another beautiful story (which I’ll also share on these pages soon). I got a call from Vis which went something like this: “Weather forecast says certain thunderstorms for Monday, we’re moving the wedding for tomorrow. How can we get you here in time?”
So I slept for 3hrs, took a taxi, train and a plane to Split where my girlfriend picked me up with a car and dropped me off at the port. Private speedboat got me to Vis in about an hour, I changed my clothes and started shooting. Little did I know what kind of story I was going to tell, but I did get a sense of something great when Peter said – let’s go for a swim. Two hours before the ceremony. Well, you’ll get to see it soon.
If you’re looking for a Vis wedding photographer hit me up with an email. I’d love to go back sometime again to Lola wedding venue.
